Leaders

Experienced, committed, energetic, dedicated—all are words that describe People to People teacher leaders. We rely on the expertise of educators who have worked with us for a long time: some for 20 years and many for at least 5 years. Their passion for education inspires participating Student Leaders on their People to People journeys.

Because People to People teacher leaders are responsible for the safety of their delegates, applicants must go through rigorous screening before becoming a Leadership Summit or World Leadership Forum leader. They complete a detailed application, submit three letters of recommendation, undergo a background check, and participate in an interview led by People to People program staff. We look for positive, active, flexible individuals who truly enjoy helping students advance and mature. Learn more about our leaders in the bios below.
