It was comforting to have someone I could contact during my daughter's time away from home.

We've spent nearly 50 years developing ways to prepare and support students as they travel away from home. From a thoroughly trained on site staff and program office to student and parent pre-travel preparation, the safety of every leader and student is our top priority. You may be wondering how we keep students safe while they are hundreds of miles away?
Whether traveling internationally or domestic, students are supported by a worldwide network of compassionate and committed individuals.
These qualified individuals not only help educate students about amazing sights and the history behind them but are also carefully trained to supervise students during travel and respond to every situation, regardless of level of severity. Learn more about our trained leaders.
These highly experienced licensed local guides travel with each Leadership Ambassador delegation and are experts on the history and culture of the program locations. Each delegation manager also completes annual training specific to the unique nature of our Leadership Ambassador Programs.
At our Program office in Spokane, WA, the Customer Experience team works with students and their families prior to the program, helping ensure the students are ready to travel. During the travel, our on-site staff is available 24/7.
Located in Washington, D.C., our program operations team plans each Leadership Ambassador Program. Prior to travel, the team reviews each programs accommodations, meals, and activities to ensure a premier experience. During programs, this team is on-call 24x7 and responds to any issues on program if they arise.
Every precaution is taken to ensure a safe travel experience for our Student Ambassadors. However, in the unlikely event of an emergency, a predetermined team of highly trained individuals is on call to respond 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
