Very easy to work with. It was a great opportunity for our son to travel with People to People to Greece, Italy, and France. They are very aware of problems and issues that may arise in foreign countries and safety is key. I was very confident to have my son travel with them."

—Janeen R.

The overall experience was above and beyond my expectations. The places that were visited and the behind the scenes experiences that the students were able to take advantage of were things that an individual would never be able to schedule or experience. It was a great value for the cost and we are planning to send her on another trip this summer."

—Karen M.

We sent our daughter on a P2P trip this summer to Europe and we would recommend it to anyone! She made new friends and had a wonderful experience. I was skeptical at first, but after going to their meetings and talking to her group leader, we could not let this wonderful opportunity pass by for her. This was one of the best educational experiences that she could have."

—Felicia

My daughter went on the Celtic Adventures in 2011. She is still talking about all the fun she had and all the wonderful friends that she met. We have been involved with People to People Ambassadors for about 6 years and most definitely recommend this program to anyone who is interested. The teacher chaperones were very informative at the monthly meetings and made the preparation for the adventure flawless. Thank you for offering such a wonderful opportunity to my daughter; she and I will never forget it!!"

I had a 12 year old travel with People to People this past summer (for 3 weeks!) and would recommend, and even encourage, other parents to consider this opportunity for their child. If your child is lucky enough to be invited, take advantage of this! It can be costly, but my child raised a big portion independently and it taught her responsibility and determination, as well as gave her great satisfaction knowing she had worked for this adventure. She would travel every year if she could and I will let her!"

—Melissa McG.

My daughter traveled to Europe with People to People this past summer (2011). She had a wonderful, eye-opening experience, including the home stay with a French family. She reported that the visit with the family was the best part of the trip. I appreciated the ease with which I could contact my daughter, the adults traveling with her and the office in case of emergency, and when my daughter had an allergic reaction, I was contacted immediately. It wasn't anything serious, but I was very grateful to hear from the trip's leader when the event occurred, rather than after the fact."

—Ummi M.

The program leaders we had were great with the kids and as a parent I felt very comfortable sending my only child off to a foreign country with them. No easy feat! I would recommend this program without hesitation. My son had the experience of a lifetime!"

—Lori H.

My daughter went on a People to People Ambassador trip last summer. She was a fifth grader. Her experience was great! She experienced things that most tourists won't get to experience, and she had fun at the same time. The leaders are all very professional and competent and I felt completely confident sending my daughter to England and France without me. I will definitely send my daughter on another trip with People to People."

The program was very organized, safe and efficient. Even the meetings prior to the trip were a good use of time and resources. I feel he learned skills while on this trip that will last him a lifetime!"

—Jennifer K.

My daughter won a scholarship through Cell Hire, which allowed her to not only receive a monetary award but a cell phone. The cell phone allowed me to keep in touch with my daughter the entire trip, almost like we were traveling together. This program offers a great experience that my daughter truly benefited her current and future life. She developed lots of new friends and experiences. The program provided me with a full detailed itinerary with hotel stays, home stays, trips, and even restaurants. I felt totally secure that my daughter was safe."

—Tina

My daughter absolutely loved it. Her delegate leaders were awesome and took very good care of all of the children. My daughter had the time of her life; she made new friends that she still keeps in touch with and to me that means so much. I of course was nervous because this was the first time my daughter was far away from us but the lovely delegates were awesome and all the meetings we had and all their knowledge and information was priceless."

—Clorinda W.

My child came back with a great attitude and even better stories. The meetings with the teachers and other travelers were well organized, and very informative. The group of travelers gelled so well. It was really amazing to see. For a responsible student, with an honest curiosity about other cultures, I would recommend this program."

My experience with People to People was incredible! They are willing to work with individuals on the payment schedule for your child's trip, and they were available to answer questions any time of the day or night. I knew that my child would be safe while traveling abroad and that peace of mind is priceless!"

—Lisa S.

This is an amazing organization! My daughter's trip to France, Italy, and Greece was very well planned, organized and supervised. The accommodations were better than expected, the touring was educational and fun, and the food was great. We would recommend this trip and the People-to-People organization."

—Joe P.

A great program that was well organized and a wonderful learning experience for my high school daughter. It was a positive experience she will always fondly remember. She traveled to 6 countries in a 3-week time period and became more aware of different cultures and of history and met many wonderful people. She was exhausted from the non-stop activities, but truly enjoyed the whole experience."

—La Crosse Mom

My son had an amazing time traveling to Europe. This was such a positive experience for him that he will carry with him for the rest of his life. While the trips are expensive, it is well worth the money, as P2P programs provide invaluable experiences that he may not have been able to experience otherwise."

My daughter went on the Australian Adventure. It was awesome! I was very impressed with the scope of the activities, with how organized they were, and with the constant communication. They handled unexpected medical issues very competently. My daughter had a minor health issue which required a doctor visit. I initially had trouble getting reimbursed through the trip insurance company. But after one call to People to People, it was straightened out immediately. I highly recommend this organization!"

—Nancy P.

My daughter traveled this summer to Australia and I can tell you that when she left she was an unhappy child who believed she would not have an amazing time. Well, I am happy to tell you she came home a very happy child. She had an amazing time! She came home with a new outlook on life. She came home with the knowledge that it is ok to be herself. She came home more mature, loving & came home with patience. She grew on that trip & her leader was just as amazing. He kept us informed the whole trip and with everything that she did while she was there, IT WAS TOTALLY WORTH THE MONEY!!!! Thank you P2P for my daughter's growth."

—L. Reeder

My 12 year old son traveled with People to People in 2011. He had the adventure of his lifetime and such a positive experience that he tells everyone they should go on this journey. The leadership team helped him become well prepared for the trip by meeting 6 times to learn about customs, cultures, and what to expect while traveling. This also allowed us parents to get ready for our child's departure. We were well informed while he was on the trip by leader phone calls and emails. People to People provided my son with an experience that his family could not give and allowed him to mature and become a strong leader."

—Lisa W.

My 15 year old daughter was supposed to travel to Japan and when the earthquake happened they kept us up to date and when they determined that Japan was unsafe for our children to travel to they gave us the chance to take another trip or get our money back. My family decided to send her on the new trip and it was a wonderful trip. She did so much and went to so many places and her leader kept us informed on everything they were doing. I felt like she was in good hands. We plan to send her and her brother again. I love this program."

My daughter attended the Tale of Two Cities and had an absolutely outstanding learning experience. Her departure flight was cancelled and the delegation was rerouted to Boston. People to People quickly set up a coach tour of the city and my daughter learned about the important historical events (like the Boston Tea Party) that helped shape the United States of America. The delegation was treated to a nice dinner in Boston and then were driven back to the airport to catch their flight to England. My daughter has decided that she wants to continue traveling with People to People and is registered to go to Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands. My daughter is only 11 years old and she is becoming a seasoned traveler and has developed a love for history. The experiences that People to People provide cannot be taught from a textbook or lecture. People to People offers life experiences that will enrich your child's life forever!"

—Rusty F.

The experience that our family has had with the People to People Student Ambassador program has been very positive. Our first daughter traveled to Europe the summer of '09 at age 14. She is a shy person and the experience helped her grow far beyond her comfort zone. Following that experience, her world opened to new challenges and dreams. It is wonderful to see your child increase their belief in their abilities. This past summer our second daughter traveled as a Student Ambassador. Again, the same positive experience repeated. Both daughters dream of taking another trip, and will do what they can to make educational travel a part of their future."

—Barbara C.

Although it can be nice to take a more personal family vacation to Europe, the People To People program can't be beat---you get to travel with numerous kids that are all about the same age and have a very unique experience that cannot be replicated. The kids have enough freedom to have a blast, yet still have chaperones and numerous safeguards in place should an emergency arise in a foreign country. I would highly recommend this trip."

—Suzanne M.

The P2P program was a wonderful experience for our son, who happens to be on the autism spectrum. He learned social skills being with his peers for three weeks. Learned how to be patient when having to wait for transportation. He is a picky eater and even tried the escargot in Paris (said it tasted like garlic shrimp, which he loves). Most important he saw that the world really was a huge place and everything did not revolve around him. :) We never got any phone calls in the middle of the night, and if I had some concerns, my emails or calls were returned right away. We are considering another trip in 2013, just not sure yet where he wants to go."

My 14 year-old daughter went to Europe. It was well-staffed and I never felt her safety was in jeopardy. The guides were great and her home-stay was outstanding. When one event was not available due to circumstances out of P2P control, an alternative activity was quickly planned. We even received a refund a few weeks later for the difference in costs in the two activities! I would highly recommend P2P to anyone who wants a well-rounded, confident child. Can't wait for her and our other children to attend another trip."

—Shelly W.

I have 3 children, and between them, they have gone on 5 trips. Each trip was an experience that they still talk about. They have gotten to see things I have only dreamt about and met many interesting people. It was a great sacrifice to raise the money to send them on the trips, but it was worth every penny spent. They were and are so far ahead of their peers when it comes to talking about government, social studies, geography and cultural issues. The sites they see in the movies or the news actually mean something to them. They can appreciate the history of the places they have been. Because of the status of the world today, I worried every day they were gone. But I was comfortable with the precautions and safeties in place for the kids should they encounter a bad situation. This is a great program. It broadens the horizons of many kids and allows them to have experiences they would not have had if they had stayed home."

—Tina M.

Both my daughter and son have been on P2P trips. The program is a cultural educational trip and both of my children received high school credits for their trips. Both my son and daughter were taught well beforehand how to safely travel and negotiate in a foreign country under extremely secure conditions, and returned home more mature and self-confident than when they left. I would recommend a P2P trip to anyone who has the drive and dedication to work hard at fundraisers and raising the money to go on a trip. Both of my children made the effort to help raise the money and it made them appreciate them all the more."

—Tamaree B.

My son got back from a trip with P2P and I asked about one of their visits. His reply was only "Dad, I know what really happened." They visited the prison camps at Auschwitz, Germany. The places that P2P takes our children not only affect them but have a lasting impression on us, the parents. The relationships they develop with the people they talk to all over the world gives them insights to the lives of different cultures. The fun things they get a chance to do, surf, snorkel, zipline, white water rafting, rappelling the side of a castle, visit museums, places of foreign politics and meet their members, hike, horse or camel ride, visit zoological and cultural parks, see some of the seven wonders of the world... Have you gotten the picture yet? If you get the chance for your child to go on a trip, find a way to make it happen. My oldest has been on five trips and now my youngest is participating in the P2P programs. The cost is worth the experiences."

—Gary W.

My daughter had the privilege of being an Ambassador this past summer. Her delegation went to 6 European countries. Yes, it was expensive, but we raised half of the money through fundraisers. The experience she had was priceless. She gained a sense of independence, grew in her self-confidence, and has now seen that there is a very big world outside of our little hometown. I would HIGHLY recommend this experience to every parent and student."

We have sent our daughter on two international trips, one through People to People and the other through another organization. Both fulfilled their responsibilities for safety, travel organization, and other important aspects of the program. What made People to People stand out is their educational component. They prepare the students before the trip with a series of meetings. The students complete assignments that help them understand the cultures of the countries they will visit. My daughter's group also did service projects before and during the trip."

—E.V.

Unfortunately, people of the world think of Americans as being isolationists without any knowledge of the world affairs and this program really helps to present more positive image. Children learn to represent our country and understand how important it is to have open communication with others, they can observe and compare different government systems, see different educational organizations (from school in Scottish Highlands to Oxford University), and enjoy the experiences in non-traditional settings. I was amazed by the amount of new information my child retained and positive influences that he attained. We also liked that our son had to study for the trip, present his research on a specific part of the itinerary, take part in the community project and was made to understand that this trip so much more than a vacation."

—Yanna R.

My daughter went this past summer to Europe. I have never seen her more excited to learn. When she came back she was a much more mature teenager. She made new friends and still keeps in touch with them. My youngest sister also went on a P2P trip 10 years ago to Australia and her maid of honor this spring is someone she met on her trip. There are endless opportunities with this program."

—Tiffany D.

My 14 year old son recently returned from a 17 day trip to China with P2P. This organization is a totally CLASS ACT. The prices of their trips are reasonably priced for the value the kids receive. I know my child will never be the same, he returned with such an air of confidence. The leaders are extraordinary, and he made a lot of friends (within the delegation and in China) that I'm sure will last a lifetime."

—Stan S.

My son traveled with P2P last summer to Australia. His favorite part of the trip was the farm stay where the students stayed with host families, in their case, a bunk house. He loved actually spending time in the life of an Australian. He showed such maturity and better understanding of different cultures when he returned. His favorite subject in school is not athletics anymore; it's history, thanks to his real-life summer classroom."

My son was shy and needed to get out of the box. No better way to prepare himself for high school than to go abroad and experience different cultures, language, food and most important, be treated like an adult and see what the real world is like. Reading his journal gave me his true feelings of his trip. Every day he would write things such as; "I can't believe I am standing in front of the Mona Lisa, or I can't believe I saw the Eiffel Tower." Every day was an incredible experience for him that is priceless. His homestay in Germany was amazing. This opportunity enabled my son to become globally aware and not just think life exists in his one little town. I highly recommend this experience to kids who want and need an eye opening experience. My son will be traveling to China next summer. His goal is to reach 4 continents before he goes to college."

—Carol K.

My 14 year old daughter took the Australian Adventure trip in the summer of 2011. She enjoyed her trip thoroughly and came back with new confidence and new friends. She has experienced things that not many other kids her age have. This trip made her stronger as a person, allowing her to believe in herself and her abilities. The knowledge she gained from the trip will help her in many parts of her life, not just now, but when she becomes an adult. Thank you P2P."
